‘Soul mates’: Sarah Ferguson posts snaps of her and Andrew for Beatrice’s birthday

Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York today celebrated her daughter’s 31st birthday.

Princess Beatrice, Prince Andrew and Fergie’s eldest child, is celebrating the milestone, possibly with family.

To mark the occasion the royal divorcee posted a series of throwback images on her Instagram account.

She treated the public to eight unseen images of the family and their first daughter.

Many pictures showed Sarah and Andrew when they were still happily married.

A black and white shot showed a smiling Sarah looking directly in the lens and she holds a baby Beatrice on her hip. The little girl is pointing at something Andrew, on the baby’s left, is pointing to as well.

A second shot shoes a very fresh-faced Duchess of York cradling a tiny little Princess Beatrice who must have been just days old when the snap was taken. Andrew is smiling at the camera wearing a blue shirt and patterned tie.

In another adorable image Sarah plays with a young Beatrice, wearing an adorable pink snow suit, in the snow.

The Duchess is wearing blue jeans and a brown suede jacket with a white fox hat.

Many of Sarah 234k followers liked and commented on the post she captioned: “Happy Birthday dearest Beatrice.”

One commented on the relationship between the Duchess and her former husband.

“You and Andrew are Soul Mates,” one said.

Another wrote: “This is probably the best royal family. After all they have been through they are still friends…”

“Awe… happy birthday to a wonderful young lady. SF you are a great mom!” another said.

Princess Beatrice’s birthday is likely to be an event she will ring in with her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 36.

Many believe it is likely Beatrice and her beau will become engaged soon.

Katie Nicholl, a royal correspondent for Vanity Fair and author of Harry Life Loss and Love, reported a friend as saying: “They are very happy and in love. Sources predict that an engagement may not be far off.”

The pair met many years ago, as their parents are friends. Edo’s step-father Christopher Shale was a close friend of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew.

However, Beatrice and Edo were first spotted together in March, leaving London celebrity haunt Annabel’s in a cab.

Edoardo is an Italian businessman. The multi-millionaire established his real estate firm Banda 12 years ago in 2007 and has served as CEO since then.
